The Bădeana-Lot 1-5 archaeological settlement (Valea Ţaga) is located at the foot of Valea Ţaga, on the left side of DN 24, at kilometre 58+500 and 10 metres from the road. The Bădeana-Lot 1-7 archaeological settlement is also located on the left side of DN 24, at kilometre 58+600 and 1 kilometre from the village of Bădeana. Ceramic fragments were found at Bădeana-Lot 1-7 on an area used for agriculture.

The Bădeana-Lot 1-8 archaeological settlement is located 2 kilometres north of the village of Bădeana, on the right side of the road, between the road and the railway line, at kilometre 61+700. A settlement from the Migration Period, dated to the 3rd to 4th century, has been documented there, as have ceramic fragments.

The churches Biserica Ortodoxă Ciortolom, Biserica Ortodoxă Criveşti, Biserica Ortodoxă Coroiu and Biserica Ortodoxă Polocin are located in the immediate vicinity of Comuna Tutova.

Municipality

The village of Tutova was first mentioned in a document on 19 September 1436. Viticulture is one of the economic sectors mentioned in the municipality of Tutova.

The route from Bădeana to Rezervaţia Bădeana is approximately 5 to 6 kilometres long and can be covered on foot, by bicycle or by car; walking is recommended within the reserve.
