Villeneuve-De-Marc: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Culture and History

The Abbaye de Bonnevaux was established in the Gère Valley in 1117. In 1790, the Abbaye de Bonnevaux was looted, dissolved, and converted into a quarry.

The church of Villeneuve-de-Marc dates from the early 19th century. It was built using materials from the former Abbaye de Bonnevaux. The church also contains a very old bell.

The fountain on the Place de la Paix provides refreshment and supplies water continuously throughout the year.
