The Bateau La Mira offers guided cruises on Lac de Monteynard. They pass through the Ebron Gorge and hidden areas of the lake, continuing to the Monteynard Dam and passing beneath the Himalayan footbridges.

Water and Trails

Lac de Monteynard-Avignonet lies at an altitude of 500 metres and stretches for 20 kilometres. It is used for windsurfing, kitesurfing, fishing, sailing and wakeboarding.

The Passerelles du lac de Monteynard-Avignonet hike crosses two Himalayan footbridges spanning the Drac and the Ebron. At the start of the hike, the route to the Passerelle de l'Ebron offers unobstructed views of the lake. The Trail des Passerelles du Monteynard has taken place every year in July since 2011. Boat crossings between the jetties at Treffort and Mayres-Savel allow hikers and mountain bikers to reach the Himalayan footbridges on Lac de Monteynard.
