The Espace Naturel Sensible Marais de la Léchère is located in Tignieu-Jameyzieu and comprises a mosaic of cladia, wet meadows, and willow and ash woodland. These woodlands are home to the protected marsh spurge and marsh peucedan. The Marais de la Léchère can be reached via the “Place du Dauphiné” bus stop in Tignieu-Jameyzieu. A 1.2-kilometre thematic trail allows visitors to explore the protected wetland over approximately one hour.

Culture
The chapel of Jameyzieu was built in 1947 to commemorate the return of prisoners of war from the Second World War. Its exterior façade is painted with a depiction of the Virgin and Child. Three scenes are depicted on the inside of the façade wall: Our Lady of the Sacred Heart with a globe placed in front of her, the Nativity, and the Baptism of Christ.
The first church building of Saint-Antoine in Tignieu-Jameyzieu dates back to 1350. The new Saint-Antoine church was built in 1892 according to plans by the architects Chatrousse and Ricoud. In the chapels of the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph, as well as in the choir, it has stained-glass windows by the Grenoble-born artist Etienne Buche.
Local life
B’Rock Café is a traditional restaurant in the heart of a village of antique dealers in Tignieu-Jameyzieu. Throughout the year, it offers musical events on Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as other themed evenings. Salle le Triolet in Tignieu-Jameyzieu is one of four event venues offering a varied programme all year round.
Village des Brocanteurs was created in April 2016 on a former 1.8-hectare industrial site. It is laid out with containers forming lanes and streets like those in a small village; each antique dealer has individually designed their area.
