History and Architecture
The hamlet of Quinsonnas has been documented since 1244. In 1339, Quinsonnas was described as a fortified settlement.
The Église de Sérézin de la Tour was built between 1845 and 1849. Its furnishings include a 15th-century bronze bell that is listed as a historic monument.
In 1540, the Château de Quinsonnas was a ruin. In the 17th century, the de Pourroy family owned the Quinsonnas estate; they are credited with rebuilding the complex.
Hiking and Nature
The Les 2 Châteaux route is a 9-kilometre hiking trail of moderate difficulty, with 212 metres of elevation gain and a stated duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes. It begins in Sérézin-de-la-Tour and includes a detour to the Étang de Fichailllon.
On the return journey, the route passes via the Carrefour de Quinsonnas; from there, the route description states that there is an unobstructed view of the Alps and the Bugey. The Château de Quinsonnas can also be seen from the Les 2 Châteaux route.
The Étang de Fichailllon is considered particularly interesting from a botanical perspective; Grande Douve, white and yellow water lilies, and Laiche faux-souchet can be found there. Les 2 Châteaux is listed as available from 1 January to 31 December, subject to favourable weather conditions.

At the Ferme du Pas de Vaches, Pierre Camut offers dairy products such as cream, butter, fromage blanc, and cheese from his Montbéliarde herd, which is managed according to organic principles.
