The Marais du Clandon is a peat bog and part of a large wetland extending across the municipalities of Les Abrets and Saint-Ondras. It is also the source of the Clandon stream, which flows into the Bourbre. The Marais du Clandon is home to marsh fern and marsh ragwort. At Moulin Lapérouse, there is a picnic area beside the stream that powers the mill, surrounded by nature.

Mount Baracuchet is located near Saint-Ondras, as is Mont de Cordon. Further afield in the region are St Alban Plage beach and Mont Chaffaron.
Culture and History
Moulin Lapérouse was built around 1850 in a hollow beside the Combeau stream. Moulin Lapérouse is considered a destination for a family outing and for tourists to explore; it is located along regional hiking and walking trails. For the European Heritage Days, Moulin Lapérouse opens its doors, presenting the restoration work and the stages involved in flour production.
The listed monument Ancienne chartreuse de La Sylve-Bénite is located near Saint-Ondras. Saint-Honoré Church is named after the patron saint of bakers. Further afield in the region around Saint-Ondras are Château de Césarges, the historic site of Abbaye de Bonnecombe (Isère), and the historic site of Prieuré de Notre-Dame de Grâce.
Trails
The GR 65, the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, passes through the municipalities of Aoste, Romagnieu, Les Abrets-en-Dauphiné, Saint-Ondras and Valencogne in Isère. One stage of the GR 65 leads, after the climb to Riboulet at 497 m, with panoramic views down to the hamlet of Vieux-Saint-Ondras. On leaving the village, you reach the former Roche factory.
