Saint-Just-Chaleyssin combines a hillside location with remarkable religious buildings. The Chapelle Saint-Just features 15th-century wall paintings and was listed as a Monument historique by a decree dated 29 January 1991.
The Église Saint-Pierre was formerly a parish church and is now a subsidiary church of the Saint-Just parish church. At the corners of its false transept are fluted columns made of marble or hard stone, with a base and astragal. They appear to be antique.

Landscape and Leisure
Chaleyssin lies halfway up the hillside on the edge of the Sévenne valley. The Sévenne rises in the territory of Saint-Just-Chaleyssin and initially runs through it. The Circuit des Combes first leads through the Saint-Just plain along the Sévenne and then through the combe valleys on the hillside. The former marshland of the Sévenne is also used by walkers and cyclists.
For sporting activities, the town has a municipal skate park covering approximately 600 m², intended for skateboarding, roller sports and BMX. The Tennis Club Chaleyssinois offers an indoor tennis court in the gymnasium and three outdoor courts. The Parcours santé was inaugurated in 2008 and is intended for all users.

The area around Saint-Just-Chaleyssin is home to the Artothèque de Saint-Priest museum, the Abbaye de Saint-André-le-Bas abbey and the Ancienne église de Saint-Ferréol monument. The wider regional area also contains the Artothèque du Centre d'art de Saint-Fons museum.
