Culture
The Château de Longpra has been classified as a historic monument since 1997. The Musée de l’Ébénisterie is located in the outbuildings of the Château de Longpra. A visit to the Château de Longpra and its estate includes the chapel integrated into the residential building, the apartments and salons preserved since the 18th century, and the French Baroque gardens.
The Église Saint-Georges dates back to the early Middle Ages and has been classified as a historic monument since 1907. The Marché de Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine takes place on Tuesday mornings as a food market near the church. During the market, the Église Saint-Georges can be visited free of charge; on other days, visits are possible only by arrangement with the mairie and subject to the availability of the responsible person.

Activities
The “Circuit de l'Eglise et des 7 Chateaux” is a permanent orienteering course that can be enjoyed alone or with the family and is marked along its entire route with green SGV signs.
Route No. 30, “Le Tour des Châteaux”, is a green mountain-bike circuit for beginners on hilly terrain. It is 4.4 km long and includes 155 metres of elevation gain. The route passes near the Château de Longpra.
Food and Drink
Biscuiterie Louvat makes Baisers, Rochers, Moelleux and Macarons by hand according to traditional family recipes, including products made with regional walnuts, raspberries and blueberries. By appointment, the Biscuiterie offers free tours and tastings.
At La Dauphine, all beers are produced and brewed on site using traditional artisan methods.
