The discovery trail along the Canal du Beaumont is a 4 km circular hike with 180 m of elevation gain. It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes and has an easy, family-friendly difficulty level. It starts at La Salle-en-Beaumont Town Hall, follows the canal and returns to the starting point.

Culture
The church of La Salle-en-Beaumont was built after the 1994 landslide, in which four people lost their lives. The reconstruction uses simple, abstract forms as well as compact, clearly defined geometric volumes. The church has a cylindrical volume and two cross-shaped openings that shape the intensity of the daylight inside.

The route to the Cabane de Lou Pi can be reached from Grenoble railway station by taking the Cars-Région T90 or T91 lines to the La Salle-en-Beaumont Eglise stop. The two-day circular route to the Cabane de Lou Pi and the Belvédère du Beaumont passes through La Salle-en-Beaumont–Eglise.
The Tour du Chauvet No. 34 also returns to La Salle-en-Beaumont. Its return route runs along a balcony above the Drac and alternates between woodland, agricultural land and hamlets. The Tour du Chauvet No. 34 is a 20 km difficult red circular route with 691 m of ascent. The circular route starts at the car park of the La Salle-en-Beaumont cemetery.
