The Saint Roch Church is a small cemetery church with a short nave, side chapels in the form of a cross, a three-sided choir, and an attached octagonal bell tower. The site of today’s Saint Roch Church was donated in 1632 by the de Neyrieu family, who at that time owned the Château de Domarin and a large part of the municipality. Saint Roch became the patron saint of the parish of Domarin in 1784. Today’s Saint Roch Church was built in 1858.

Culture
The Château de Domarin bears traces of a medieval fortified house, as well as former, now vanished moats. Today’s Château de Domarin is a rectangular residential building with four levels, two asymmetrical pavilion roofs, a wooden and zinc bell turret, and bull’s-eye dormer windows. The Château de Domarin is not open for visits.
The Croix Saint Roch stands on the montée de la Reytière at the exit of Domarin towards Maubec. It bears an inscription dated September 6, 1958, as well as an IHS monogram. The Domarin war memorial stands next to the church on a small square at the cemetery and consists of an obelisk on a cube-shaped base made of light limestone.
Nature
In the heights of Domarin, the Chemin de Maratot offers a designated walking trail for nature and outdoor activities. The Chemin de Maratot leads via the montée de l’Epallud to the Plateau de l’Epallud. It begins beneath an avenue lined with walnut trees, passes through the forest, and then continues into the municipality of Maubec. At the initiative of the municipality, the Chemin de Maratot was completely redesigned; it is a walking trail open to everyone.
Hikes and Excursions
La RanDomarinoise organizes day trips on Sundays, as well as weekends of two, three, or four days depending on the calendar; on average, two excursions take place per month. Depending on the weather, La RanDomarinoise offers some snowshoe hikes from January to March, hikes on country paths and in the low mountains in spring and autumn, and frequent high-mountain-style hikes in the Alps in summer.
Guests can take part in a day trip with La RanDomarinoise without prior membership. La Randomarinoise is open to all groups of people without restriction and offers one-day and multi-day excursions.
The hike “Hiking up to the plateau” is of moderate difficulty, 6.5 km long, has an elevation gain of 230 m, and takes two hours. It is signposted with yellow markings from the “Promenade et Randonnée” system. The hike has a car park, is open year-round, and can be reached from the “Maladière Branly” public transport stop after a 600 m walk.
Cycling Route
The “Sur les hauteurs de Bourgoin” route passes through Domarin and then continues to Saint-Alban-Roche.
