The easy Les deux églises circular trail runs for 5.4 km from Assieu to Cheyssieu. The route crosses the agriculturally shaped plateau and offers unobstructed views of the Pilat. It also crosses the Varèze before reaching Cheyssieu.
Culture and Paths
The Autour de la chapelle Saint-Mamert circular trail crosses the Suzon before reaching the village of Cheyssieu. Along a shared section, it follows the GR65, the Chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, which leads from Geneva towards Cheyssieu.
The circular trail offers an optional 20-minute round trip to the Chapelle Saint-Mamert, which is listed as a historic monument.
