The parish church of the Nativity of Our Lady was largely completed in neo-Gothic style in 1886; the steeple was built in 1891. It houses a Baroque tabernacle from the 17th century with carved architectural decorative elements and religious statuettes.

The Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Salette is the former parish church of Bellegarde-Poussieu. It was built on a rock south of the enclosing wall of the castle of the Bellegarde family, whose history can be traced back to the 11th century.
