The Church of Saint Nicholas is built of brick and features architectural elements made of limestone. Beneath the northern transept arm of the Church of Saint Nicholas is the family crypt of the du Sauzay and des Essarts families, which is accessible from outside.
The history of the town also includes the destroyed former Church of Saint Nicholas: its west façade was probably built in the 13th or 14th century, while its choir was probably extended in the 16th century.
The Château de Vauchelles is partially protected as a historic monument. The protected elements include the façades and roofs of the château and all the outbuildings, the enclosure walls of the main courtyard, the farmyard, the monumental entrance gate and two additional gates (cadastral plots B 77 and 81). These elements were placed under protection by decree of 20 January 1976.
