Sailly-Flibeaucourt: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Sailly-Flibeaucourt has been part of the Baie de Somme Picardie maritime Regional Nature Park since July 2020. There are nine discovery cycling routes in the Baie de Somme, including the Geai and Gravelot routes.

Culture and History

Sailly-Flibeaucourt is one of the villages designated as a Pays d’art et d’histoire. The outbuildings of the former château dating from 1771 include an octagonal dovecote.

The Église Saint-Martin was consecrated on 14 July 1714 and dedicated under the name Saint Martin de Tour. It has a white-stone bell tower repaired with bricks, as well as a brick-built nave with a white-stone door.

Shortly before the War of 1870, a second Vachette production unit was established in Sailly-Flibeaucourt. It manufactured bolts, latches, small iron hardware items and padlocks, including the SGDG automatic security padlock.
