Longueau: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Circuit de la Canardière is an 11 km-long hiking trail between Amiens and Longueau. The Hortillonnages continue to cover 265 hectares and are spread across the municipalities of Amiens, Camon, Longueau and Rivery. They form a mosaic landscape of canals, bodies of water of various sizes and gardens with diverse designs. The Hortillonnages can be explored along more than 3 km of the towpath; the route is equipped with educational information panels.

Culture and History

The municipal cemetery of Longueau preserves several monumental tombs belonging to the Bossu-Gense, Manier-Morel and Lefèvre-Lombart families. It was designed by the architect Raoul Dautry and is part of the history of workers' housing in connection with the Industrial Revolution of the 19th century.
