The Site nature de La Maye natural area offers landscapes shaped by the tides, with salt marshes, dunes, reed beds and extensive open spaces. It lies at the mouth of the Maye, at the entrance to the Baie de Somme National Nature Reserve. The area is also a starting point for guided nature excursions and is suitable for hikers and birdwatchers.
The Belvédère Manessier offers visitors a view over the Baie de Somme. An orientation board there is dedicated to the painter Alfred Manessier.

The northern end of Le Crotoy beach is used for kitesurfing and windsurfing.
The Balade au Crotoy hiking route is a 10-kilometre circular trail of moderate difficulty, starting and ending in Le Crotoy. It is designated as a yellow-marked PR route (Promenade et Randonnée) and bears the FFRandonnée label. It initially follows the bay and the sea to the entrance of the Baie de Somme National Nature Reserve. The return route runs behind the dunes along the coastal path, passing pine trees and dunes, and ends along the La Bassée marshland.
The Cayeux-sur-Mer–Le Crotoy section of La Vélomaritime / EuroVelo 4 is 28.94 kilometres long and is described as suitable for beginners and families.
Culture and History
Gare du Crotoy station was the first station opened on 1 July 1887 on the Réseau des Bains de Mer. It has preserved its original exterior appearance. The goods hall of Gare du Crotoy station houses a small exhibition of railway objects such as boards, signals and tools.
The Saint-Pierre Church in Le Crotoy combines historic elements from the 13th century with a neo-Gothic reconstruction from the mid-19th century. It contains maritime votive offerings.
