Gapennes offers the natural experience “Gapennes, son courtil et ses oiseaux”. It begins at the Église Notre Dame de l'Assomption, Place du 11 Juillet 1944, Gapennes 80150, leads through Gapennes’ bocage belt and along hedgerow paths considered refuges for biodiversity. Along the way, it teaches visitors how to identify the birds native to the area and explores the history and special features of a preserved rural landscape.

The Écuries de Gapennes offer riding lessons on ponies and horses. They accept children from the age of three for their riding activities.

Culture

The Église de l'Assomption in Gapennes houses a lectern in the room with the baptismal font. It dates from the 19th century. On the south side of the nave of the Église de l'Assomption there is also a statue of Saint Eligius, a painted wooden sculpture. This statue dates from the first quarter of the 19th century.

The Château de Gapennes was built in 1650. The statue “Christ de calvaire” was formerly located outside the church.
