Culture

The Église Notre-Dame de l'Assomption de Vieulaines has been fully listed as a Monument historique by a prefectural decree since 27 December 1974. The nave of the present church probably dates from the mid-16th century; the choir, with a straight bay and polygonal apse, was probably built in the late 16th century.

The Château de Vieulaines has a main building constructed around 1750 from brick with stone corner quoins. It is extended on both sides by lower wings ending in pavilions. The château is partially listed as a Monument historique; the protection covers the façades, roofs and wrought-iron staircase ramp.

The Abbaye de Saint-Riquier, an abbey, is located in the surroundings of Fontaine-sur-Somme. The Collégiale Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption is a church in the nearby area. Also located in the surroundings are the Abbaye de Notre Dame de Willencourt, an abbey, and the Abbaye du Gard (Crouy-Saint-Pierre, France), a historic site.
