Tartiers is home to the Église Sainte-Geneviève de Tartiers; the church is dedicated to Sainte-Geneviève.

A chapel was later built at the Sainte-Geneviève spring. According to local tradition, the spring was considered miraculous and was believed to cure stomach complaints.

History

An early historical reference dates back to 893: at that time, King Eudes handed Tartiers over to the Abbey of Saint-Médard de Soissons.
