The Église Saint-Crépin-et-Saint-Crépinien is one of Serches' historic landmarks. The church was built in the 12th century according to a simple Latin-cross floor plan.

Culture and History

The Romanesque Église Saint-Crépin-et-Saint-Crépinien retains the south wall of the nave with its arcades featuring double archivolts, the base of the bell tower, and the 12th-century vaults in the arms of the transept. Its furnishings include historic pieces, including a 14th-century statue of the Virgin and Child.

The Ancienne commanderie des Templiers du Mont-de-Soissons is located in Mont-de-Soissons in Serches. Its protected 13th-century buildings comprise a chapel, a main building, and a barn. The history of this site is linked to the Knights Templar and the Templerie du Mont de Soissons; the first donations to it are mentioned in 1133.

In the hamlet of Dhuizy stands the Porche de l'ancien château médiéval de Serches. Its gate is visible to every passer-by from the road. The Porche was built in the 17th century as the gate and enclosing wall of a medieval castle that has since disappeared.

Those who choose Serches as a travel destination may want to find a holiday apartment there.
