Around 29 km of paths run through Montigny-Lengrain. Eleven kilometres of them were selected for and recorded in the PDIPR. The “Les Hameaux de Montigny” hiking trail begins at the town hall, 1 place de l’Église.

Hiking
The “Les Hameaux de Montigny” route follows paths along the edge of the plateau, through undergrowth and along the valley floor. Along the route, visitors can see eight-pointed, star-shaped pinnacles created by cutting a cube diagonally; one such motif is located on the cover of a well.
Nature
The Fontaine Saint-Martin is approximately 5 metres high and consists of three rocks stacked on top of one another. It is a natural monument featuring a spring, cascade, stream and travertine. The Fontaine Saint-Martin, also known as the “Roche pleureuse”, is one of Picardy’s registered natural sites.
A visit to the Fontaine Saint-Martin includes a 1.7 km walk. The privately owned Fontaine Saint-Martin is open to the public, except on hunting days.
Culture and History
The Saint-Martin Church was built in three construction periods: the 12th, 13th and 15th centuries. In front of the west portal stands a Renaissance cross, which was classified as a historic monument by decree of 10 November 1921.
The protected furnishings of the Saint-Martin Church include the polychrome wooden statue “Vierge à l’Enfant tenant une grappe de raisin”. It dates from the late 16th century and has been listed as protected movable cultural heritage since 1 September 2000.
The Saint-Martin Church also contains an eagle lectern and a painting entitled “Le Portement de croix”. The eagle lectern has been protected as movable cultural heritage since 1 September 2000; the painting has been listed as protected movable cultural heritage since the same date.
The Saint-Martin Church can be visited during the municipal administration’s opening hours; visitors register at the secretariat, sign the register and are given the keys.
Local Delicacies
Safran de la Grenouillère is sold directly at the farm shop of the business in Montigny-Lengrain. The farm shop is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
