Marle draws attention to the Musée des Temps Barbares: It is housed in a former bann mill built in the 12th century. Every year, the museum is open to the public from the beginning of April to the end of September.

Culture and History
The Église Notre-Dame was built towards the end of the 12th century, around 1180, at the beginning of the Gothic period. It contains the tomb of the Sire de Bournonville, who is considered to have been the first lieutenant of John the Fearless during the Hundred Years’ War.
The church’s furnishings include wood panelling from the abbeys of Foigny and Val Saint-Pierre, acquired in the 19th century.
Archaeology
The reconstructed Frankish village comprises five large buildings, two post-built granaries, 13 sunken-featured buildings, a palisade and a well.
The archaeological park features a very partial reconstruction of a Merovingian farm from the 6th and 7th centuries, based on archaeological excavations in Goudelancourt-lès-Pierrepont. On a four-hectare site next to the already reconstructed Merovingian farm, a complete Frankish village from the 6th and 7th centuries was reconstructed based on excavations in Juvincourt-et-Damary.
The archaeological park also includes a faithful reconstruction of the smaller of two cemeteries discovered in Goudelancourt-lès-Pierrepont, containing 134 graves. Events and reconstructions take place there in summer, including the Rencontres Mérovingiennes and the Festival d’Histoire Vivante.

The Marle swimming pool is located on Place de Lattre de Tassigny, between the stadium and the gendarmerie.
Marle is served by the Laon–Hirson railway line.
