The Prieuré de Prémontrés Saint-Jean now includes, among other things, a parish church. It was founded in the 12th or 13th century; the Saint-Jean church was rebuilt in the late 15th or early 16th century.
The historic site Abbaye de Bohéries is located in the surroundings of Hannapes. The archaeological site Bois de Hannappes was discovered in 1964 during sand extraction.

Nature
The Forêt domaniale d'Andigny is located in the municipalities of Hannapes, Mennevret, Seboncourt and Tupigny. The prehistoric settlement Bois de Hannappes was situated on one of the numerous sandy hills in the southern part of the Forêt domaniale d'Andigny.
During a hike, a route began in the square of Hannapes and led through the Forêt d'Andigny. A documented hiking route in Hannapes passed a geodetic tower or chimney.
Water
The Canal de la Sambre à l'Oise passes through Hannapes. The entire canal route from Jeumont to Tergnier takes approximately five days.
