Culture

The fortified Saint-Hilaire Church in Autreppes dates back to 1632. Its square keep, with four levels, serves as a defensive room, entrance hall, and bell tower. At the same time, the church follows the ground plan of an oriented Latin cross.

In the northern part of the Autreppes cemetery is the grave of the Choffin-Gaudry couple. Marie-Catherine Gaudry, a first cousin of Condorcet, is buried there.

The Abbaye de Foigny, a monastery, and the Abbaye de Montreuil les Dames, a historic site, are located in the vicinity of Autreppes. The wider regional surroundings of Autreppes also include the Abbaye de Bohéries and Martin-Rieux, both historic sites.
