The Dolmen de la Grosse Pierre is located in the hamlet of Le Village in Verneusses. The Dolmen dit la Grosse Pierre has been classified as a historic monument since 4 April 1911.
The Manoir de Bois-Hébert has been partially protected since 30 October 1974; the protection covers the façades and roofs. At the Manoir du Bois Hébert, the motte and ditches of a former fortification have been preserved; the present manor house was built on these remains. The rectangular main building and the polygonal stair tower probably date from around 1500. The Manoir du Bois Hébert, a château, is located in the vicinity of Verneusses.
The historic site of Abbaye Saint-Evroult-Notre-Dame-du-Bois is located in the vicinity of Verneusses. The Château de Fervaques and the Château de Mailloc are also located in the wider region; both are châteaux. The painting “l’Annonciation” in the church of Verneusses dates from the 17th century and was classified as a protected object on 10 June 1907.

Verneusses encompasses 21.41 hectares of the “Risle, Charentonne, Guiel” Natura 2000 site; this corresponds to 1.31 % of the municipality’s area. This Natura 2000 site covers 4,754 hectares and includes parts of the Risle floodplain as well as sections of the Charentonne and Guiel tributaries. Verneusses is also part of the “Les vallées de la Charentonne et du Guiel” landscape area, which was designated in 1994.
