Serquigny is situated in a green valley at the confluence of the two rivers Risle and Charentonne. Those who choose Serquigny as a travel destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment.

Landscape

In the town centre, the Parc de loisirs extends over almost 6.5 hectares. Four watercourses structure the Parc de loisirs in Serquigny and converge in the Charentonne. The Sentier nature provides a list of the species that can be observed in the town park and in the former poplar plantation. The former poplar plantation has been placed under protection and designated as an area for natural development as part of a genuine environmental commitment.

Culture

The original Notre-Dame church in Serquigny was built in the second half of the 11th century. Only the portal remains from the original structure; its four archivolts are decorated with billet, sawtooth, bird-head and broken-rod motifs. The Sainte-Anne chapel in Notre-Dame church has four windows, three of which are adorned with Renaissance stained glass. The eastern door of Notre-Dame church dates from the 11th century; the church dates from the 13th, 14th, 17th and 19th centuries.

The Grand Château in Serquigny is a 17th-century château and is partially listed as a historic monument. The protection covers the façades and roofs of the château, the two entrance pavilions, the moats, the dovecote, the main avenue and the meadows in front of the two principal façades. The listing took place on 22 May 1951. The Menhir du Croc is regarded as a permanently defining landmark of the historic landscape of Serquigny.
