The River Le Saint Ouen flows along the Route de la Vallée past the hillside of the small village. The local waterworks include the Lavoir de la Nieuray in the Rue des Étangs. It is fed by springs that subsequently flow into the Saint Ouen.

The water wheel of Ets DOREMUS/Boyauderie in Saint-Étienne-sous-Bailleul dates from 1912.

The church of Saint-Pierre-de-Bailleul is listed as a historic monument for Saint-Étienne-sous-Bailleul; the listing dates from 24 November 1961.

Hiking

The official circular hiking trail “À la rencontre des lavoirs” starts at the Place de la Grâce in Saint-Pierre-de-Bailleul. The route is 9.6 kilometres long, takes approximately three hours, is considered easy, and is marked in yellow.
