History
The Champigny-Saint-André German military cemetery was inaugurated on 12 September 1964. Almost 20,000 German soldiers who died in the Second World War are buried there. The cemetery can be reached via Saint-André-de-l’Eure and the D 53; a signposted turn-off leads directly to its entrance. The paved main path leads from a 16-metre-high steel cross between the graves to the comrades’ cemetery.
The Château d’Osmoy is an privately owned 18th-century château built on the site of an earlier Gothic château.
