Bus-Saint-Rémy is home to the former Trésor-Notre-Dame Cistercian Abbey, which dates from the 13th, 17th and 18th centuries. Parts of the abbey are listed and classified as historic monuments; the corresponding listings and classifications date from 1989 and 1992.
The Manoir du Bus, also known as Manoir de la Dame Blanche, dates from the 16th and 17th centuries and has been classified as a historic monument since 1933. It is designed as a fortified residence; its exposed stone masonry is decorated with pilasters and cornices in the French Renaissance style.
The Château de Baudemont complex consists of three interlocking rings of fortifications on a steep slope above the Epte. The remains of the Beaudemont fortress probably date from the 12th century and are recorded in the French general inventory of cultural heritage.
The Abbaye Notre-Dame du Trésor, recorded as a historic site, is located nearby. In the wider surrounding area are the Château de La Roche-Guyon, recorded as a castle, the Château d'Alincourt, also recorded as a castle, and Vaux-de-la-Celle, recorded as an ancient site.
Nature
The Epte Valley in Bus-Saint-Rémy is a protected natural area. The surrounding area also includes Monet's Water Lilly Pond, recorded as a park, as well as Monet Water Lilly Pond, likewise recorded as a park. In the wider regional area is Île-Belle, recorded as an island.
Trails
The “Les Coteaux de Fourges” hiking trail, No. 4, is 16 km long. It takes about 4 hours on foot and about 2 hours by mountain bike. At the entrance to the village, the trail leads into Bus-Saint-Rémy and continues to the town hall.
The “Boucle de Bus-Saint-Rémy et Montreuil-sur-Epte” hiking loop leads to the Source Saint-Martin in the hamlet of Baudemont.
