Culture and history
The Église Sainte-Honorine combines several architectural details. Its choir was built at the end of the 13th century and has an exterior cornice with pointed-arch arcades and modillions. On each side of the first level of the tower is a double lancet opening with three pointed-arch archivolts resting on slender Gothic columns. The Église Sainte-Honorine in Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes also houses a statue of Saint Lawrence.
The Chapelle Saint-Siméon was built from limestone in the 13th or 14th century and rebuilt in the 19th century. It was formerly a pilgrimage site; during the Allied landings in 1944, it was reduced to ruins. The wooded valley at the Chapelle Saint-Siméon slopes down towards the coast.
