At the Church of Saint Eloi in Russy, the choir and bell tower date from the 13th century. Since 29 October 1926, both parts have been listed as historic monuments.

Culture and History
From 11 to 23 May 1940, the Manoir du Marais housed Baudouin I, Albert II and their elder sister, Princess Joséphine-Charlotte of Belgium. Shortly after the Allied landings, the BBC set up its first studio there. The manor also housed René Coty, who was President of the French Republic from 1954 to 1959.
A 16th-century manor house was the residence of Gilles de Gouberville. According to historical tradition, he is also said to have carried out the first known distillation of cider in 1554.
Nature
The cemetery yew tree in Russy was designated a classified site by a decree dated 29 December 1936. It is the only tree within the cemetery. Tradition holds that the yew dates back to the construction of the church in the 13th century.
Cycling Connections
The 32-kilometre “Les Cyclo’ d’Isigny-Omaha” cycling route from Trévières passes through Aure-sur-Mer (Russy). The Vélomaritime also runs nearby, from Port-en-Bessin to Aure sur Mer (the Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes district).
