Culture and history
The Chapelle Saint-Roch in Pont-d'Ouilly dates from the late 16th or early 17th century and has been restored. The Sainte-Thérèse church contains a rose window by Bernard Legrand. It depicts the work and leisure activities of the region's inhabitants and has contributed to the church's renown since 1950.
The annual Grand Pardon de Saint-Roch procession takes place on the Sunday after 15 August in the village of Saint-Mards d'Ouilly. Pont-d'Ouilly sur Scène is a recurring summer concert series at the Pont-d'Ouilly leisure complex; free concerts take place there on Mondays in July and August.
The former economic importance of the town has also been documented: in the 19th century, the market hall of Pont-d'Ouilly was one of the wealthiest in the region. It could not accommodate all the grain sacks delivered there. At that time, Pont-d'Ouilly was an important crossing over the Orne and a significant trading centre.
Château Ganne, a castle, is located in the vicinity of Pont-d'Ouilly. The surrounding area also includes Château d'Harcourt and Château de Falaise, both castles, as well as the Abbaye de Villers-Canivet, a historic site.

Mont d'Ancre and Mont Pinçon, both mountains, are located in the wider region around Pont-d'Ouilly.
The GR Tour de la Suisse Normande hiking route runs through the valleys of the Orne and the Rouvre, passes the Roche d'Oëtre natural site and then reaches Pont-d'Ouilly.
