La Croupte is home to the Église Saint-Martin. It dates from the 15th century and the second half of the 18th century. By decree of 30 December 1986, it was listed as a historic monument; the protection also covers the choir's stucco decoration.

La Croupte has old quarries. Classical music concerts have also been held there in churches.

Nature

A small path leads down from the Église Saint-Martin to a washhouse and the miraculous spring, the Fontaine aux guenilles. At the Fontaine aux guenilles, people invoke Saint Laurent, Saint Fiacre and Saint Martin. A sign at the washhouse describes the ritual of the Fontaine aux guenilles.

Hiking

The “Fervaques, un patrimoine sauvegardé” hiking trail is marked in yellow and passes along the church in La Croupte. It crosses a stream via a bridge; then walk 20 metres to the right and climb uphill along a path.

The 4th stage of “La Chevauchée du Pays d’Auge à la Seine” leads from Notre-Dame-de-Courson to the miraculous waters of the spring at La Croupte and then towards Fervaques.
