Donnay: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
One of Donnay’s attractions is the Grotto of Notre-Dame de Lourdes. It was built in 1885 as a replica of the Grotto of Lourdes and was a pilgrimage site from 1885 until around 1995. Geographically, Donnay is located near the route between Bretteville-sur-Laize and Pont-d’Ouilly.
Nature
The “L’Avenue de hêtres et la hêtraie” site in Donnay has been protected as a classified site since 16 June 1943. The classified site “Avenue de hêtres et hêtraie” in Donnay covers 12 hectares and extends on both sides of the CD 23 road from the hamlet of Villeneuve to the Bois de Saint-Clair. The Bactot rises in the Bois de Saint Clair on the border between Donnay and Meslay.

Culture
The parish church of Saint-Vigor dates from the 12th century and was almost completely rebuilt in the 17th century. The ruins of a 15th-century manor house, which was demolished during the French Revolution, have been preserved in Donnay.
Traces of Château de Donnay still remain in the form of former farm buildings, including a building known as the “Pavillon de chasse”. The former vicarage of Donnay, now the town hall, dates from the 18th century. The remains of the garden and a formally designed entrance to the manor house are also still visible.
