Nature and Trails

A variant of the GR36 runs between Amayé-sur-Orne and the Pont du Coudray along the banks of the Orne, then continues into Suisse Normande. The GR36 long-distance hiking trail connects Ouistreham in the Calvados département with Bourg-Madame in the Pyrénées-Orientales over more than 1,000 kilometres.

Culture

The nave of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Amayé-sur-Orne features Romanesque masonry. The church also has an Early Gothic choir with lancet windows, located mainly in the north wall. Its stained-glass windows were made by the Degusseau workshop in Orléans and installed in 1953.
