In the Parc du Château of Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise, the castle was built between 1030 and 1050. The grounds also contain a man-made motte, a defensive earthwork mound that rises more than 30 metres above the plateau.

Since 17 September 2003, the Musée Bruno Danvin has carried the designation “Musée de France” within the meaning of the French Heritage Code.
The former Chapelle des Sœurs Noires was built between 1761 and 1767 from stone and brick, with a sandstone base. It is protected as a historic monument. It was completely restored in 1995, and its roof was renovated in 2002.
The Saint-Paul Church was originally the chapel of a Carmelite monastery founded in 1615 and became a parish church after the Revolution. The church, destroyed in June 1944, was rebuilt between 1958 and 1960; the central part of its façade was preserved.
The Saint-Paul Church is connected to the Chapelle des Sœurs Noires by a covered passageway. This runs along the façade facing the square.
