History and architectural heritage
The Eglise paroissiale du Saint-Esprit in Pernes-lès-Boulogne is a neo-Gothic church. It was rebuilt between 1851 and 1852 according to the plans of the architect Philippe Sannier; its bell tower bears the year 1850. Mass is held in the Eglise Saint-Esprit on the second Sunday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
The war memorial depicts a dying soldier, a cross with Christ, a Croix de guerre and a palm. It was inaugurated on 16 October 1921; the sculpture of the dying soldier bears the signature of J. Dechin, and the wrought-iron railing bears the name of the blacksmith J. Dulot.
The Château de Conteval is partly located in Pernes-lès-Boulogne, at the place called Haut Penleu.
