In Isques, the Sentier du Landacres begins at Place des écoles. Parking spaces and access to the trail are also located there. Isques is part of the Caps et Marais d’Opale Regional Nature Park. The village is also served by the Marineo G1 bus line.

Nature and trails
Isques has walking trails, bridleways, and mountain biking trails (VTT). The Sentier du Landacres has a 12.5 km route, indicated as taking three hours, which passes by the blockhouses.
The wetlands crossed by the Sentier du Landacres are home to birds of prey, waterfowl, frogs, and rare plants. From Mont d’Herquelingue, the trail offers views of the Viaduc d’Echinghen and its valley.
Equestrian sports are also represented in Isques: the Centre Equestre Ferme du Rietz has an illuminated indoor riding arena with a sand floor, which is used for equestrian sports. Show jumping takes place there on a sand arena.
History and local life
The church of Isques is already mentioned in a historical reference from 1069. During the Hundred Years’ War, it was destroyed by the English and rebuilt in 1440 by Pierre, Seigneur d’Isque. Its furnishings include a 12th-century baptismal font.
The Sainte-Apolline celebration in Isques traditionally includes a Mass on the following Saturday, followed by a communal meal.
