Hiking

The Groffliers Tour is a 12-kilometre hike. It begins beside the lookout hut opposite the Auberge de La Madelon and leads through plots belonging to the Conservatoire du Littoral.

At the Observatoire de la Baie, a short walk runs between pine-covered dunes and salt marshes. The discovery trail there starts at a car park; from there, the path leads towards the Baie d'Authie and then through an access barrier.

The Allée des Roses comprises a 1.5-kilometre loop through white, grey and shrub-covered dunes. The site is owned by the Conservatoire de l’Espace Littoral et des Rivages Lacustres.

Culture

The Church of Saint Martin was built in the 12th century. Its portal was listed as a historic monument in 1926.

A storm surge devastated the Church of Saint Martin in 1748; subsequently, its three naves were combined into a single nave.

Since 1960, the statues of Notre Dame de la Salette have stood at a former bunker in Les Morieux.
