The Church of Saint Thomas of Canterbury bears several distinctive traces of its history. Its nave is dated to 1662, while the wooden church steeple dates from 1849. In 1553, the church was burned down and destroyed. The semi-Gothic choir is considered the only part that apparently survived from this earlier period.
