Hiking
The GR 121 passes through Contes between Cavron-Saint-Martin and Beaurainville. The 11-day long-distance hiking route is 198.9 km long and runs from Oisy-le-Verger to Equihen-Plage. It crosses the Pas-de-Calais department from the Sensée ponds via Arras, then follows the Canche Valley towards the hills of the Boulonnais and continues to the English Channel.
The GR®123 long-distance hiking trail also runs from Contes to Carlepont in the Oise department. Its route initially passes through the Forêt d’Hesdin, then through agricultural plains and wooded hills. Along the way, it crosses the villages of Mouriez, Voisin and Wadicourt. The GR®123 is 244 km long in total and reaches a maximum elevation of 192 m.
