The Château du Pas d’Authie was built for Félix Moullart de Torcy on the site of an estate with a manor house dating from the 17th century. The Jardins du château d’Authie combine an English garden with a vegetable or French garden, numerous topiary trees, and a great variety of trees, some of which were planted in the 17th century.

This ZNIEFF is home to one of only two regional populations of the aquatic mudwort species Limosella aquatica.
