Sainte-Colombe Abbey was founded at the end of the 12th century and is partially protected as a historic monument. The surviving parts of the former Sainte-Colombe Abbey include an entrance building, an abbey palace with a monumental staircase, remains of the church wall, outbuildings and an enclosing wall.

The Sainte-Colombe Church in Blendecques was built between 1858 and 1870. Its Neo-Romanesque architecture combines with Gothic elements, including a pointed bell tower and a rib vault. The furnishings include carved furniture from the 16th century, originating from the Abbey of the Dames de Sainte-Colombe.

History
