The history of Audincthun includes the V1 pumping station. It was built in 1943 to convey very pure water through a pipeline to a nearby V1 launch site.
History
The V1 pumping station survived the bombing of 1944, during which the heavy launch site was destroyed, and supplied the village of Audincthun with water until 1976. The pumping station and all its pumping equipment have been listed as a historic monument since 22 March 2012.
The park of the former Château de Dion de Wandonne in Audincthun is associated with the château built in 1760. It was destroyed by a fire at Christmas 1917, caused by British troops quartered there.

The Church of Saint Nicholas in Audincthun contains a reliquary cross of the Sainte Épine from the 18th century on the altar of the southern side chapel. The 15th-century Dion Chapel has rib vaults with elaborately designed corbels.
