Auchy-au-Bois: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Auchy-au-Bois, local history and walking routes meet at Place Sigéric. Several sections of the Via Francigena also pass through the town along a clearly defined route. Stage FR07 ends in Auchy-au-Bois on Rue de Pernes opposite the Church of Saint-Gilles; Stage FR08 also begins there, on Rue de Pernes opposite the Church of Saint-Gilles.

The La Coqueline circular trail from Amettes is 10 kilometres long, marked in yellow and easy; it leads towards Auchy-au-Bois. Along the way, it crosses a footbridge and follows the Coqueline stream. As a hiking trail, La Coqueline is also 11.5 kilometres long and connects Amettes, Auchy-au-Bois and Nédon. La Méroise is a 16.4-kilometre moderate-difficulty hiking trail with a stated duration of four hours. There is a variant of this route starting from the car park at Auchy-au-Bois town hall.

The Auchy-au-Bois spoil heap offers views of the surrounding area, is an important landmark in the region and is designated as a site of the Chaîne des Parcs. It is accessible exclusively to pedestrians. At the Auchy-au-Bois spoil heap, the trail surroundings, benches, picnic tables, a viewing platform with railings, and a wood-and-rope installation are maintained.
