Culture and History
The Église Saint-Rémi in Sémeries has been protected as a historic monument by a decree dated 23 February 1951. The Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Walcour in Sémeries was listed as a historic monument by a decree dated 10 April 1948.
Next to the church in Sémeries, the Dieu de Pitié monument was erected in 1543. It houses a seated Ecce Homo statue made of blue stone, with bound hands beneath a hexagonal roof, and is a mausoleum commemorating Hubert Ducarne and his wife.
The Abbaye de Montreuil les Dames, a historic site, is located near Sémeries. The Fort du Bourdiau and the Fort d'Haumont, both fortresses, are also nearby. Further afield in the Sémeries region is the Abbaye d'Hautmont, a historic site.

Hiking
The Sentier des moulins à eau is a hiking trail for experienced hikers. It leads to four watermills on the Belleuse and the Helpe Majeure. Near Sémeries, the trail crosses a bridge over the Helpe.
