Ramousies has a centre consisting of two separate settlement cores on the southern slope of the Helpe-Majeure. The Chemin de la Fache d’Ahant is 10.4 km long, takes three hours according to the stated duration, and passes the Fache d’Ahant, which is considered a floodable meadow area.
Landscape
The Chemin de la Fache d’Ahant crosses the Helpe via a footbridge. As a wooded, hilly walking trail, it offers beautiful views of the Avesnois landscape and the meanders of the Helpe-Majeure. It also passes the fortified Ferme de Rempsies in Ramousies.

Culture and History
The Église Saint-Sulpice was rebuilt in 1574; a bell tower was added in the 19th century. The fortified Ferme de Rempsies, which is listed as a historic monument, is also located in Ramousies. Its protected status covers the façades and roofs of the entrance buildings with their watchtower, as well as the tower and the stables; it was established by decree of 23 February 1951.
The historic site of Abbaye de Montreuil les Dames and Fort du Bourdiau are located in the vicinity of Ramousies. The wider regional area also includes Fort d’Haumont and Fort de Cerfontaine.
