Eppe-Sauvage is located in the Parc Naturel Régional de l’Avesnois. At the confluence of the Helpe majeure and the stream of Montbliart, these waterways, together with several other small streams, feed the artificial 180-hectare ValJoly Lake.

Culture
The Église Saint-Ursmar in Eppe-Sauvage was listed as a historic monument by decree of 14 April 1947. Its main construction phases date back to the 16th and 17th centuries. In total, there are 19 religious buildings in Eppe-Sauvage: one church, eleven oratories, four chapels, one Calvary, as well as two grottoes and statues.
Nature
Eppe-Sauvage has 295 hectares of communal deciduous woodland with oak, beech and hornbeam trees. In Eppe-Sauvage, the forest borders the bocage landscape.
Le Bois de Nostrimont is a 140-hectare natural area in Eppe-Sauvage. It includes a bird protection zone and has an exceptionally interesting floral heritage.
Activities
The Maison des Sports et de la Nature on the lake has catamarans, windsurfing boards, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. It is open year-round to people who want to learn to sail or improve their skills.
Six mountain-biking circuits start at the ValJoly resort. La Transylvestre is a difficult 20-kilometre mountain-biking circuit starting from the ValJoly resort.
