Culture

The Musée des Évolutions Jean Vaillant is housed in a building dating from 1576 and takes visitors through history, from the origins of life on Earth to the present day. It shows the development of technology, from prehistoric finds through numerous tools and old objects to the first electronic devices. The museum also includes a section on local history and a reconstruction of a classroom from the beginning of the 20th century.

The Église Saint-Rémi in Bousies is a Jesuit-style church built between 1736 and 1740. Four bells ring out different melodies over the course of the hours. The church also has a Stations of the Cross consisting of 14 panels by the painter Dumortier from 1864.

The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Foy in Bousies was built in 1682. A chapel-like potale in Rue Pasteur dates from 1778 and is dedicated to Notre-Dame des 7 Douleurs. A Staubli Frères loom with a Jacquard mechanism was in operation at the Seydoux weaving mill from 1866 to 1965.

The Fontaine Jet Rare in Rue de la République is a fountain enclosed by a blue-stone washhouse and is now dry following the construction of a nearby water tower.
