Culture and History
The Église Saint-Omer is protected in its entirety by its designation as a historic monument under a decree dated 26 June 2006. Following the devastation of 1568, it was rebuilt between 1591 and 1606 as a three-nave hall church with a tower portal.
The Château d'Engelshof in Bambecque is partially listed as a historic monument. The protected features are the façades and roofs, except for the building attached to the south façade. The Abbaye Saint-Winoc monument and Fort Fort Vallières are also located in the vicinity of Bambecque. In the wider regional area around Bambecque are the Artothèque de Saint-Pol-sur-Mer museum and the Abbaye du Mont des Cats monastery.

Nature and Landscape
The Jardin botanique du Val d'Yser covers more than 25,000 square metres and is divided into four seasonal areas with winding paths. Ornamental, vegetable and fruit plants grow there among native grasses; the garden also has an especially diverse animal population.
The ZNIEFF “Prairies humides de Bambecque et la Petite Becque” is a type 1 continental natural area covering 4.06 hectares in Bambecque and Herzeele. The Mont des Récollets hill is located in the vicinity of Bambecque. In the wider regional area around Bambecque are Île Jeanty island, Groenendijk Strand beach and Mont des Cats hill.
Trails
The 43-kilometre circular trail “Les fraudeurs et la maréchaussée” starts in Bambecque. It connects the Yser with the Colme and runs near the polders of Les Moëres.
